Everything was lovely, had a really comfortable stay for a two week holiday. My room with coffee/tea, old photos of local steamships, for example was good-sized, had good night's sleep. The location was stunning, adjacent to river estuary, the surrounding areas and the sea and harbour, in a very quite area.

What a lovely stay! The staff were super friendly and cute! Our room was really comfy with a fantastic view of the harbour, and the full scottish breakfast was amazin. We had a great time chatting with the locals and the owner. Can't wait to come back!
the bathroom could use some updates, and we noticed some noise from the pub downstairs.

The sea view was very nice, but the mattress felt lumpy and outdated.

We loved the fine sea views and enjoyed exploring the Machars triangle. Did some fishing at the Isle of Whithorn. Breakfast was spot on, with loads of choices and big portions. Staff were friendly.
Just a heads-up, our room wasn't tidied daily, a bit of a bummer. By the end of the trip, we had an overflowing bin and had to wash dishes ourselves.

Couples looking for a good getaway
The staff was friendly, cute us with open arms. The food was something special too, we enjoyed a delicious steak pie that was huge and full of flavor.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but you know what, it was worth it!

We explored the fine coast and enjoyed cycling in the Machars triangle. The meals were delicious and generous, especially at dinner with the massive steak pie. Quick and friendly service made it even better, and we managed to try the chocolate fudge cake, it was the perfect treat!

A Hidden Treasure by the Sea
We spent two nights enjoying amazing sea views from our room. The staff treated us like family. Don't miss the hearty Scottish breakfast-indulging in the local haggis was a unique experience! Garlieston's charm and the friendly atmosphere.
